SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEERS

These are senior positions that vary on experience level required but are both part of a team developing products for the electric utility market. Responsibilities include contributing expertise and skills to design and code complex software utilizing embedded LINUX RTOS, "C", and "C++". Additionally, the individual will be a member of the development team to design software to meet the required product specifications. Duties also include supporting Production, Service, Test and Sales in all phases of product development including post-engineering support.

Qualifications include BSEE or BSCS degree with at least 4 years embedded product development experience. A minimum of 4 years experience with "C", "C++" and at least 2 years LINUX RTOS operating system required. Must have knowledge at the system definition level and experience with embedded real time operating systems. Strong hands-on experience with layer 2 and layer 3 network switching & routing protocols along with knowledge of revision control and automated build systems is required. Working knowledge of writing software using C# or experience with SQLite is desirable. Familiarity with Bash Scripting, Cisco Switch and Router configuration, D-bus, Perl Scripting, Agile/Lean software development would be a plus. This is a Northern N.J. office based position, candidates who do not meet these qualifications or require relocation will not be considered.
