At RFL Electronics Inc. our quality management system is registered to the ISO 9001:2000 International Standard, from NSAI, for the design and manufacture of electronic assemblies for communication and relaying products for the electric utility, oil, gas and transportation markets.

RFL utilizes the business process approach to quality management, which provides the basis for a continual improvement environment. In this environment the process includes everything from identifying customer's needs, designing products meeting those needs and putting that plan into action for manufacturing and delivery.

The certificate of registration from NSAI is awarded to RFL Electronics Inc. for meeting the requirements of the ISO9001:2000 Quality Management Standard. NSAI is accredited by the National Accreditation Board of Ireland the Registration Accreditation Board of the United States and a member of the IQNET, International Certification Network.

The IQNET Certificate is awarded to RFL Electronics Inc. through NSAI, for recognition of meeting the requirements of the ISO9001:2000 Quality Management Standard. The IQNET is part of the International Certificate Network which is an association composed of 36 certification/Registration bodies that resides in Bern, Switzerland. IQNET and its partners establish and maintain a common database of registered companies. IQNET is the largest certification network in the world. The IQNET is an international network of registrars and is used to acknowledge companies that have implemented and maintain a Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of ISO9001:2000.

Lapem is the Quality division of CFE, The Federal Commission of Electricity of Mexico. Lapem is responsible for supplier evaluation, development and auditing in accordance with the ISO9001:2000 Quality Standard. Lapem approves organizations, such as RFL Electronics Inc., for supplies and services to CFE.
