IMUX
2000 T1/E1 CHANNEL BANK
RFL is pleased to announce the addition of a new IMUX 2000 T1/E1 Channel Bank to its communications product line. With its high-capacity power supply, the unit is designed for applications where a maximum of voice cards are required in a minimum amount of space. The unit can be equipped with the optional TELCO pin-compatible I/O interface for direct TELCO channel-bank replacement. The unit also features integrated CSU functionality for connection to the Public Switched Telephone Networks (PSTN), and an optional SNMP manager. For critical business applications, the unit supports both optional redundant power supply and redundant T1/E1 processor.
Whether you need a private T1 WAN, or are connecting through the PSTN, the IMUX 2000 T1/E1 Channel Bank is your most cost effective solution for your communication needs. A single IMUX 2000 low-cost channel bank can replace as many as four costly 56-kbps DDS lines.
For more detailed information and technical specifications, please download the brochure to learn more about the product, or call RFL to discuss your applications at 973-334-3100
IMUX
2000 T1/E1 INTELLIGENT MULTIPLEXER WITH COMMON LOGIC REDUNDANCY
Designed
for harsh environments, the IMUX 2000 T1/E1Multiplexer
creates a new class of Intelligent Multiplexer with features
such as Redundant Common Logic Module, built in CSU functionality,
DS0 squelching capability and Fast Reframing Channel.
The
unit provides full featured, Drop-and-Insert capability
for each voice frequency circuit or any signal that can
be transmitted in a DS0 channel. The multiplexer has electrical
and a wide variety of optical fiber (both singlemode and
multimode) interfaces to simplify system configuration.
Channel cards are available for voice, data, telemetry,
teleprotection, video and ethernet applications. When
combined with our IMUX2000 8-Port DACS-R, the IMUX 2000
T1/E1 Multiplexer supports many types of network layouts
such as Spur, Hot Standby and Ring topologies. The IMUX
2000 is both hardware and software configurable. The unit
offers the ultimate network management system. It operates
in a Windows point-and-click environment and provides
network visibility from any node which allows for remote
provisioning, monitoring and alarm reporting.
The
IMUX 2000 T1/E1 Multiplexer is compact, modular in design
and compatible with previous generations of RFL Multiplexers.
For a product that meets and exceeds your telecommunication
needs, advance into this class of hardened multiplexers
and make the Intelligent choice, the
IMUX 2000 Intelligent T1/E1 Multiplexer.
IMUX
2000 T1/E1 MDACS INTELLIGENT
MULTIPLEXER WITH INTERNAL DACS
The MDACS is a combination of the IMUX 2000 T1/E1 Multiplexer
and 8-port DACS combined into a single 3 RU shelf. The
MDACS offers the same stringent specifications for use
in harsh environments and also features built in CSU
functionality and DS0 squelching capability. The MDACS
uses the same DS0 channel cards as the multiplexer and
also supports various types of network topologies including
"Star", "Hot-Standby" and "Rings."
The new MDACS offers 12 channel slots for DS0 cards
and also offers Power supply redundancy for increased
reliability.
IMUX
2000 REDUNDANT T1/E1 8-PORT DACS
The IMUX 2000 8-Port T1/E1 DACS is designed for stand-alone
operation and/or to interface with the IMUX 2000 T1/E1
Multiplexer to support various types of network topologies
including "Star", "Hot-Standby" and
"Rings." The IMUX 2000 8-Port T1/E1 DACS, provides
full cross-connect capability as well as a reliable level
of system restoration. The RFL DACS enables the termination
of up to eight [8] T1/E1 ports in a common platform while
also providing full DS0 Time Slot Interchange capability.
Redundant DACS modules are available for critical applications,
which cannot tolerate single point of failure network
architectures.
Communications
interface options for the DACS include built in T1 CSU,
or fiber optic interface adapters, using Code Mark Inversion
(CMI) encoding technology. In the event the application
is time sensitive in nature the RFL DACS can be configured
as an Intelligent Line Switch (ILS) in order to provide
ultra high speed path switching. System restoration is
accomplished through the use of alternate DS0, Time Slot
Interchanged maps. The alternate maps are pre-determined
and pre-programmed through RFL's user friendly Network Management
Software. An alternate DS0 map is invoked automatically
upon detection of T1/E1 failures (e.g. AIS, Loss of Frame,
excessive BER). The time necessary to switch to an alternate
map, upon detection of failure, is programmable down to
1 millisecond.
IMUX
4000 MULTIPLEXER
The IMUX 4000 is an integrated standards based transport
solution for bringing SONET to harsh environments such
as those present in the electric utility, transportation,
oil & gas and other industrial markets. It delivers
the most cost effective, compact and simple-to-deploy
solution for multi-service traffic such as IP, voice,
video, protection and control.
SONET
is the TDM-based transmission and switching standard for
high-speed fiber optic transmission. The technology has
been proven for over a decade in public carrier networks.
With this proven reliability, SONET is now being deployed
in "mission critical" private networks where
speed, reliability and robustness are vital.
The
IMUX 4000 is available as an OC-3/12/48 SONET multiplexer
with IEEE/ANSI rated power supply isolation. This transport
solution complements RFL's line of IMUX 2000 T1/E1 hardened
access multiplexers and digital cross connects. The IMUX
4000 is a standards-based product, which makes it interoperable
with other SONET multiplexers.
