Ethernet Switches

RFL 3000 & 3200 Product Family

Ethernet Switches

With the increase of Ethernet Communication ports on newer substation equipment, power utilities are turning to networking solutions for their substations using Industrial Ethernet equipment due to their high reliability and emphasis on standards.

The RFL 3000 & 3200 series of hardened Ethernet switches comply to the IEEE 1613 substation standard along with the IEC 61850-3 substation communication standard. The RFL 3000 family of products include managed and unmanaged switches, and cover a wide range of substation applications.

With modular versions that provide a mix of noise-immune fiber and convenient copper ports, as well as 10 MB, 100 MB and 1000 MB speeds, applications are allowed to be designed into substations where control, instrumentation, and relaying equipment are evolving and changing rapidly.

Take a look at the products to learn more about them, or call RFL to discuss your applications.
