Training

RFL offers formal training courses both on-site and at the RFL campus in Boonton Township, NJ. The training courses consist of a combination of theory and hands-on in the classroom and the field if commissioning is part of the scope of work.

The best situation for a new RFL equipment user is to plan to have RFL on-site immediately after the equipment has been delivered and wired. We will then perform the classroom training, including hands-on work, then move the class to the field to help with the commissioning. This method allows the students to use the classroom acquired technical skill to work with the actual RFL equipment that they will be responsible to maintain.

The fees are as follows:

1) On-site Training is $1,200/day, Monday-Friday, $1,600/day for weekends and holidays. Our training programs take between one and three full days, depending on the RFL equipment type.

2) Travel time, portal-to-portal is $80/hour.

3) Travel expenses (plus 10% admin fee).

4) Each student will be provided with a copy of the Training Manual, which is a made from copies of the overhead slide presentation.

Each student will also be provided with a CDROM of the Product Manual.

For other RFL products, it is recommended that each student own a copy of the hard-cover product manual, which is available for purchase for $50 to $100 each depending on the specific RFL product.

If the customer prefers to travel to our campus, we charge $1000/day for the instructor's time. All student expenses are the customer's responsibility.

We can provide a quote that includes an estimate of all travel time and expenses.
