| The new IMUX 2000 Visual NMS 1.1 Software Update.
The IMUX 2000 VNMS 1.1 software update contains several enhancements and bug fixes that provide the user with an even better experience. Get it now by scrolling to the bottom of this page and download it.
Updates include:
Enhancements:
- The DA-291B “Port 1- 4 Char. Formats” have been enhanced to add the total number of bits used based on the character format chosen.
- The software now provides confirmation for any of the “Write” functions.
- New dynamic settings for CM-3R and CM-4 based on firmware revision were added.
- The VF-15C(T1) and VF-15C(E1) TX and RX Levels values are now displayed in “dB” values instead of decimal values.
Bug fixes:
- After reading a card that was added to an existing node, the “Actual Settings” values read from the field unit were not updated in the file database.
- In the RDACS mapping screen, changing from Map 0 to other Maps, gave an error message.
- CM3R Status Tabs were not displayed.
- OCUDP module TimeSlot was incorrectly displayed.
- When running Autoconfig method 2, if VNMS was setup to use two communications paths, the software stayed is a continuous loop mode.
- A new installed VF-5C in remote mode did not turn on after being remotely programmed.

IMUX 2000 Visual NMS Feature Summary
Security features:
- Software Activation Key provided by RFL to only registered IMUX users
- Three user level password: Administrator, Maintenance or Monitor
- Optional Network Shelf Password using existing Shelf Password feature on the Multiplexer
Network Layout Screen features:
- Enhanced with color coded node status (Normal, Alert, Alarm) and Node information
- The nodes can be interconnected easily by drawing links. Up to 8 links (color coded) are possible from any node

- The network is also viewable in list format, allowing management of up to 999 nodes from a single network file
Node View Screen features:
- Each node is displayed as a front view of a chassis with its door removed including Repeater Shelf
- Timeslot configuration per card for the entire node
- Any node can be viewed from the same node view screen by changing the node number

Node View
- Multiple Nodes view can be open at the same time
- Shelf status and virtual LED indicator on each channel card to indicate the status of the card (Enable, Normal or Alert)
- Body color of the card also indicates newly added card or card removed or no communication
Channel Card View Screen Features:
- Enhanced channel card view screen with:
- Complete shelf information (slot #, card remote address, shelf ID & Address)
- WindowsTM user friendly tab (Setting and Status) format
- Default value for newly added cards
- Print function for each setting and status tab
- User information tab
- LED status indicators

Channel Card View
- Ability to open multiple card screens at the same time allowing side by side provisioning of a circuit from different locations
Reports Features:
- All reports can be exported to an Excel, Word, or PDF file.
- Connection view report – Displays the time slot usage per each node and the inter-connection of timeslots between nodes in the network with error reporting functionality
- Network inventory report – Displays all nodes and all of the hardware installed in each node
- Network settings report – Displays all of the information in the network inventory report as well as the file settings and the actual settings for each applicable hardware

Time Slot Connection View
- DACS Map report – Displays all of the DS0 maps for each DACS-R in the network
- Network Settings Difference report – Reads the network and compares the “file settings” with the “actual settings” and displays a list of differences
- DACS Map Difference report – Same as Network Settings Difference Report but for DACS-R DS0 Maps
Diagnostics Features:
- Network & Node Alarm report – Retrieves and displays active alerts/alarms for the entire network or a specific node

T1/E1 Performance Counter View Screen
- Network & Node Sequence of Events (SOE) report – Retrieves and displays SOE for the entire network or for a specific node
- Network & Node T1/E1 Performance counter report – Retrieves and displays all CM-3Rs or CM-4s and 8-Port DACS-R/ILS-R T1/E1 Port error counters for the entire network or for a specific node with date and time stamp
Compatibility:
- The IMUX 2000 Visual NMS is compatible with existing network files created with IMUX 2000 NMS 10.2 or higher.
- The IMUX 2000 Visual NMS does not support older CM-3B, CM-3C and CM-6B. The older 6-Port Mini-DACS is not supported also.
- The IMUX 2000 Visual NMS is compatible with Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems. Windows Vista is not yet supported
