ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN

Responsible for applying electronic theory, principles of electrical circuits, electrical testing procedures, engineering, mathematics, and related procedures to test, troubleshoot, repair and configure specialized electronic communications equipment in a semi-custom, production environment. Experience with Power Distribution, line protection, low frequency RFL and/or Relay and Relay System testing preferred but willing to train. Proficiency in audio applications such as filters, amplifiers and hybrids is desirable.

The preferred candidate has a BSEE, BSET degree or equivalent work experience testing electronics equipment in a production environment. Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills. Communication System testing and Ethernet networking experience is a plus. Knowledge of power generation systems, substation design and operation, and power transmission and distribution schemes is desirable. This is a Northern N.J. office based position, candidates who do not meet these qualifications or require relocation will not be considered.
