The RFL 3200 UK-10, 10 port unmanaged Ethernet switch is designed to operate in electric utility substations/ industrial environment and offers a compact 1RU package that can be mounted in a 19” wide rack, and DIN rail or wall mount configurations. The switch meets the same EMI immunity and environmental requirements as mission critical protective relaying devices in accordance with the IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 standards along with CE Markings and CSA/UL approvals.
The switch is equipped with two GigE ports that come standard with RJ-45 capable of 10/100/1000 Base-TX with parallel SFP cage for optional SFP fiber transceivers capable of up to 80km. In addition to the GigE ports, the switch come standard with 8 ports: Four RJ-45 10/100 Base-TX ports and four other ports configurable with either RJ-45 10/100 Base-TX or 100 Base-FX 2km multimode fiber transceivers.
The inexpensive RFL 3200 UK-10 Gigabit unmanaged Ethernet switch is an attractive solution for the “Substation LAN” and the “Smart Grid” communications network system.
